The first time I signed up for Demand Studios, I was denied. Although this was quite devastating, as it is the most promising job I have found online, I continued to write for other websites until I built up my writer’s portfolio, tweaked my resume, and reapplied. I was hired in less than a week and have continued to write for Demand Studios almost every day since June 2010.
Although I have not written for this website for an extensive period of time, I have found that the pay is extremely convenient for me. The pay outs are automatically sent to your PayPal account every Tuesday and Friday. I feel that I never have to stress once turning in an article because if I do not receive payment for it on Tuesday, I receive payment for the article by Friday over 90% of the time.
I have published well over five hundred separate articles and have had little requests for rewrites, which is contrary to the popular belief. I was hesitant at first because I have done extensive research and seen that a lot of people were complaining and bout “picky editors” and their constant requests for rewrites.
For those of you who do not know much about Demand Studios, I will give you some information. Demand Studios hires writers to publish articles from a variety of topics. The most popular sites that are written through Demand Studios are eHow.com and livestrong.com. Once you are approved to write, you are given a three article limit. You can choose the style of articles to write, and the pay. Generally, articles are worth $15 each. Once you select the title, you have to write an introduction and publish the article according to the writer’s guidelines. Once you complete writing the article, you must include references and resources for each article.
After you finish the article, you submit it for review. It usually takes one to three days for you to hear back about your articles. An editor will typically request a rewrite for your first three articles in order to prompt you into being more in tune with the writing guidelines. After the three articles are complete, your limit will be increased to ten articles at a time. You can select up to ten articles at any time to write at this point. If you have ten and submit one, you are free to automatically search and select your next article to write.
Demand Studios continually updates their system and adds features for writers such as updated guidelines, blacklists, and goal trackers. You are able to review your writing scorecard whenever you feel like, and you are always able to view your earnings for year to date.
I tend to write two to three articles a day and aim for seven articles a day in order to earn $105 each day. This is satisfactory to me, and allows me to continue writing without becoming burnt out. I honestly enjoy writing for Demand Studios. I worked in a restaurant as a server and found that I was able to make more money working at home and I could enjoy watching my child grow up at the same time. Since beginning my work for Demand Studios, I have had no regrets and personally recommend the website to everyone interested in writing.
