Mission 25 starts with both of my worms at the bottom of a cavern type map, next to one of 8 of the enemy worms. There are 2 upper levels with 3 and 4 enemy worms on them respectively, all connected by a path through the middle of the map. This mission has the shortest turn limits thus far, so actions should be thought out before hand, to get the most out of each turn.
I start off by getting my worms to the top level ASAP to get them out of harms way, and start working on the top 4 enemy worms. The AI is excellent about dropping grenades right on the heads of my worms, so getting to high ground where it’s harder for them to make those shots is important.
I clear the top level through the use of grenades and shotguns, trying to combine the use of some of the environmental hazards to help my goal. The worms on the lower levels have a hard time firing up, and besides Stinky who goes first, also the upper level worms are at the end of the return rotation, allowing me little hindrance is I work each one over one by one.
From here on out, it’s all about dropping ordinance on the enemy worms from above, using the blowtorch to make little tunnels where my worms can drop grenades or sheep from to hit the enemy, then retreat to keep them safe from return fire. Make sure to use the holy hand grenade when it becomes available, as its power combined with amusement factor shouldn’t be missed out on.
