Mission 29 starts my worms at the bottom of an open pillar map, with a single terrain feature stretching up a far ways, with several worms scattered on each side in various crevasses on the way to the top, where a whole line of enemy worms lay in wait. My first task in this mission is to teleport my worms into separate holes in the middle of the terrain near the very top. This action will keep my worms safe from enemy fire while I dig tunnels to attack the lower worms on each side.
Having infinite blowtorches is important to this mission, and using them effectively is equally so. I cut tunnels with just a small sliver of land between Krafty and Crumbly, then drop grenades down the tunnels with the help of gravity to blow both worms of the side of the map. From the same tunnels I can keep dropping regular and cluster grenades down to carve the enemy worms on the side of the pillar out and into the water. I take the opportunity to use the bunker buster on the top worms when some of them get too close to the edge of the map, pushing one off the edge.
There is a sentry gun on the right side that I take care of with dropped grenades, to avoid it shooting my worm and interrupting my turns. All the while my worms stay safe from attacks, except for a single well placed bazooka shot that irritatingly was shot straight through one of my tunnels, attributing the AI to its un-human aiming skills.
At one point when the remaining top worms group together to the right of my worm at the top most hole in the map, I use the buffalo of lies to blast them all as it plows through a small sliver of terrain that was separating the enemy from my worm. This attack ends up taking 3 worms down, droping their numbers considerably. Following the strategy of dropping grenades on the lower worms allows me to finish off the right side, and although I eventually lose Bill Cosby, the enemy team has been decimated enough, along with the terrain to prevent them from doing anything further to me while I take my time finishing things up.
