I love freezer pops and when I came across Wyler’s Italian Ices and Soda Pops Freezer Pops, I decided to buy both, try them, compare them and write product reviews all about them. Here is what I discovered!
Wyler’s Authentic Italian Ices are only one dollar for a box of eight at my local Dollar store. I liked the low price of these. They are very budget friendly! These come in a box of assorted flavors. The flavors include kiwi watermelon, raspberry, lemon and orange creme. Very creative flavor choices, in my opinion. I could not wait to taste these!
When I tried these Italian ice pops, I loved them. All of the flavors were great, but raspberry was my favorite flavor. Yes, there are better tasting freezer pops on the market, but these are so budget friendly. I rate them four stars out of five stars. I will be buying these again. They cool me off on a hot summer day. They are an inexpensive and fun frozen treat. One of these has 50 calories. 0 of those calories come from fat. They have 10 mg’s of sodium, 12 grams of total carbs, 9 grams of sugars and 0 grams of protein. I do like many Wyler’s food products. This one is a winner, in my book!
Soda Pops Freezer Pops are very interesting. When I discovered these at my local Rite Aid drug store, of all places, I could not resist them. These cost around two dollars, a bit more than Wyler’s, but they have 12 pops in each box. These creative freezer pops are in soda pop brand flavors. A&W root beer, 7-up, Dr. Pepper and Orange Crush. I like all of those sodas, so I was really looking forward to trying these!
When I tasted Soda Pops Freezer Pops, they were a bit disappointing. The soda flavors are good, but they end up tasting a bit flat and not nearly as tasty as I expected them to. They are average, as freezer pops go and not as good as they should be, in my opinion. I found myself favoring the Wyler’s Italian Ice Pops. They tasted better, in my opinion. I rate Soda Pops Freezer Pops three stars out of five stars. I will probably not buy them again. Wyler’s won this taste test, hands down.
Soda Pops have 35 calories. They have 0 grams of total fat, 5 mg’s of sodium, 8 grams of total carbs, 8 grams of sugars and 0 grams of protein. I discovered that Wyler’s has real fruit juice in their pops and that did help the flavor. Both are fun products to try, but I award Wyler’s Italian Ice Pops the best freezer pops award. In this case, they deserved it. Lower price and better flavor. They are a winner!
