You know how it is with software bugs. You assume the systems guys know all about them. Often they do. Sometimes they don’t and the bugs need to be reported. So here are some of the bugs I’m seeing over here in Europe.
This is a note that I’ll delete once these bugs are resolved or once I can, hopefully, get answers to questions about them.
Although the Yahoo-Associated Content integration is very recent and seems to have gone fairly well overall, I’m experiencing a number of bugs and am unsure whether they’re general or not.
I’m writing from France and I don’t know whether some of the problems I’m seeing may be specific to “International” contributors.
Here are the main bugs I’m seeing:
Firstly, I’m having trouble accessing the Forum. It now appears like old .dos text – not properly formatted. It’s just like a jumble of ASCII text.
No payment data is available for my account whereas it always used to be available.
My November PV payment wasn’t issued in the middle of the month so I haven’t been paid.
A “Pending Payment” note just clicks through to a message saying “No Payment Records Found”.
I can’t access daily Page Views detail reports.
The Add Twitter Account function isn’t working for me but one contributor has told me it works OK for her.
And most of the other functions, from this remote vantage point, are working fine.
